ABOUT

Maya Sulkowski is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children express their message. She graduated from the University of Toronto and has spent her career providing services to children ranging from preschool to high school. She has worked in a variety of settings including day cares, private practice and school board.

She utilizes naturalistic and behavioural approaches in supporting her students reach their communication goals. Every child is different and every child deserves to have an approach that serves them best. She was part of a presenting panel at the Ontario CEC 62nd Annual Special Education Conference “Facilitating a Positive Communication Environment for Students with Developmental Disabilities” and was recently featured on Voice of Toronto.

Her additional areas of training include: Picture Exchange Communication System (Levels 1 and 2) and PROMPT for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT).
